About Claudia

Claudia Okonkwo, PhD is a 26 year old Nigerian-American. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University with Summa Cum Laude honors. She went on to further her academic career at Georgia Institute of Technology where she received her Doctorate in Chemical Engineering with three first author publications, a few co-author publications and a provisional patent under her belt.

She has served as the Atlanta Chapter President for a non-profit organization, Umu Igbo Unite, which focuses on providing a network of professional Igbo Americans who positively impact the diaspora. She has mentored for the Exxon Mobil Success Program at Georgia Tech, which prepares undergraduate students for graduate school and provides them with the necessary tools they need to succeed in a professional environment.

While in graduate school, she aspired to transition into a career in consulting and has secured a consultant position at one of the Big 3 (MBB) consulting firms. Her ability to problem solve, integrated with her knowledge on how to craft any case has positioned her to create a framework to guide others who aspire to transition into a consulting career or pursue a graduate degree.

Her passion to make impact and increase diversity in Engineering and Consulting drives The Luminary Advantage and the success of her clients is her top priority.
